Lucas to fill Alonso gap

Lucas Leiva has been a subject a praise lately from Reds manager Rafa Benitez. The Brazilian midfielder has been playing well in the absence of Xabi Alonso during pre season. With new signing Roberto Aqulaini out in the sidelines for 8 weeks or so, it does look likely that Lucas will be filling the gap left by Alonso. Hopefully, this chance that is given to him will bring out the best out of the Brazilian midfielder.
