Title Hopes Still Alive

Liverpool met expectations once again with a rather easy win against a demoralised Newcastle Utd. A 3-0 victory over The Magpies means that Liverpool close the gap between them and Manchester Utd to just 3 points. The margin should have been far greater with The Reds taking the game to Newcastle. But a header from Dirk Kuyt, Lucas Leiva and a simple finish from Yossi Benayuoin as enough for the The Reds to secure victory and keep track of Man Utd.
